Work Safety Shoes
We know my inordinate love for the old mechanics, but we know sometimes unless I soiled my white hands to maintain them. I have also a small machine shop not too badly arranged. Currently working in the heavy (the engine of BSA), I tell myself that all this, I take 120 pounds of scrap metal on the little feet would probably the best memories of my life. There are all kinds of footwear. Some pieces shelled, others reinforced sole, resistant to other chemicals . . So we must choose according to their intended use. If I do not say shit the most effective, meet the standard EN 345-1 and are resistant to 200 Joules and crushed against a 15 kN (falling object of 20 kg from a height of 1 m) . . As you suppose, I do not care about aesthetics, what matters is the protection against heavy stuff falling and stuff which pass through the pungent soles. I said I need a little, I often tinker on Saturdays and Sundays, always at home for pleasure rather than by need. I'm pretty conservative in nature and I do not get hurt by tinkering, the only weak point of my handyman outfit is the shoes: I wear old work safety shoes boat eagle . . So aesthetics do not care, only count the quality of protection (fall and clashes with stuff lying around on the floor) and ease of use. I would rather avoid pumps with laces if I want to think about them regularly . . This is not completely a joke, hooves have had what I know long been used on construction sites in different countries. And they have no laces.
